Printmaking Studio and Home of Michael G. Crouse

Michael Crouse has been producing prints for thirty years. He is a multi-media printmaker working in relief, lithography, intaglio, screen-printing, and monotype. His prints have been exhibited in England, Korea, Canada, Vietnam, Holland, Spain, as well as the United States. Michael earned a BFA from the Atlanta College of Art and a MFA from the University of Michigan.

For 26 years Michael taught introduction and advanced printmaking courses at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is a recipient of an UAH Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award and a Research/Creative Works Award.

Michael now owns and operates BrokenStone Press, an independent fine art printmaking studio, located in the LowerTown Historical Arts District of Paducah, Kentucky. Founded in 2006, BrokenStone Press specializes in the printmaking processes of lithography, relief, and screen-printing. The studio also provides facilities for intaglio and monotype processes. BrokenStone Press promotes both traditional and innovative print processes using environmentally friendly materials wherever possible.
